Error saving a session

hi there, I have purchased alive in 2012 and now I wanted to transfer (using heartmath) to my other computer. I have downloaded the software and transferred the key. But when I finish the session it shows error saving a session and I have to restart the software. what should I do? it may be a bug.

Also I have noticed that when I was on trial only I had a chance to see the full HRV spectrum, but since I put the key I cannot find it. do I need to update the software or purchase an upgrade? I have just basic version. Is HRV a part of the clinical version only?

many thanks

Zuzana

Hi Zuzana,

Although all smoothness training in Alive is HRV training, to see the actual HRV frequency spectrum graph you need Alive Clinical. Upgrading to Alive Clinical also gives you additional environments, much more detailed review, and other important graphs. You can upgrade by buying the Alive to Clinical Version upgrade for $250 at www.somaticvision.com/products/aliveclinical

Regarding the error message, we have not seen this before. If you are using Windows, try running Alive as administrator, as the only reason I could imagine Alive can't save the session is if it doesn't have permission to access your Documents folder. Alive sessions are stored in your user Documents/Alive Sessions folder. Is that on a network drive or with limited permissions?

Please let me know more about your setup. Is it Windows or OS X? If Windows are you using Windows in English or another language? Is your documents folder special in any way (network location, modified, etc.).

Best,

Ryan
