Hi Ateeq,
Some people have problems with their IOM or Lightstone that prevent them from using Alive. If your IOM or Lightstone sensor were to report that your fingers were not in the sensors, even when they were, you can use this feature to requirement that skin conductance is measured to use Alive.
If you disable this (whether your skin conductance sensors are broken or not) you will no longer need to attach the skin conductance sensors when training heart rate. On the other hand, Alive will no longer know when any of the sensors (including the heart rate sensor) is connected.
