I'm posting links here to the Alive User Guide and the Alive Clinical Guide.

There is a lot of useful and fun information here, even if you don't own Alive.
For example in the Alive User Guide starting on page 6, there is an entire section on Extending Alive Beyond the Computer, which includes a number of cognitive based techniques which you can use independently of Alive (page 13 and on give walks you through each technique). All of this information comes from Yuval Oded, a clinical psychophysiologist specializing in treatment of extreme stress. He is also the founder and director of clinics that integrate biofeedback to treat a wide array of conditions, including anxiety disorders, behavioral disorders, chronic illnesses, neurological problems, psychosomatic problems, head trauma and post traumatic stress disorder.
Further, Oded uses biofeedback to train combat pilots, top athletes and executives to achieve and maintain optimal performance under stress.
For professionals already working in the field of biofeedback, I recommend also checking out the Alive Clinical Guide, which also shows interesting information about how skin conductance (skin sweat) responds to stress levels.
Also this may help people who are considering purchasing Alive get more of a feel for the program.
Enjoy!
