Re: Is there a way to HIDE the names in Alive for HIPPA purposes?

Please just use numbers instead of user names, and keep a separate sheet correlating the user names to the numbers. Or if it's sufficient user first names only or initials. Generally I would say that if a user was already watching the computer screen when you chose the names, and you had a hide name...

Re: iFeel Bluetooth on M1

Unfortunately macOS updates introduced incompatibilities with the manufacturer's drivers for iFeel Bluetooth. We spent over a year of full time work updating Alive for macOS, but macOS changes their requirements so often it always costs us more to update for macOS than we make selling for macOS. I w...

Re: Drive 2 will not work in Alive

The version of Dual Drive 2 sold by HeartMath is sold exclusively by HeartMath and only works with the emWave software. If you contact Somatic Vision Support (upper left of https://www.somaticvision.com/support) perhaps they can get you a large discount on the Alive version.

Re: How do I interpret the power spectrum?

The interpretation of the power spectrum is something you should research or ask your biofeedback teacher about. This is a complex topic with different interpretations, and probably is something that could relate to specific conditions. That said, there are some straight forward differences between ...

Re: Yellow line issue

A yellow line indicates you have a respiration belt attached (to your biofeedback device). Remove it and you shouldn't get that yellow line.

Re: mini games no longer work

Hi Marcin, Do you have a compatible graphics card (anything besides Intel embedded graphics)? In any case, I would try installing the latest version of Alive from https://www.somaticvision.com/getalive There is also a small videos options from the mini-game top drop down menu, that might help. Or in...

Re: Mac Problems

Hi Amy,

I believe at Saybrook they use Alive Pioneer with the GP8 Amp which is only compatible with Windows. For full macOS compatibility requirements please see https://www.somaticvision.com/macOSCompatibility

Using Alive for macOS with emWave Pro Software (emWave Desktop software)

Normally Alive (for Windows or macOS) connects directly to the emWave sensor. For Alive for macOS (only), you can also connect through the emWave Pro software (emWave Desktop software) for macOS. To run Alive so that it connects to the macOS emWave Pro software go to Applications -> Utilities and ru...

Alive Installer and Uninstaller Command Line Parameters

The Alive uninstall program is named unins000.exe and can be found in the same folder where Alive is installed (by default, its C:\Program Files (x86)\Alive). Both the Alive setup and uninstall programs accept the following command line parameters: /VERYSILENT /SUPPRESSMSGBOXES /LOG /LOG="filen...

Re: Plans for updated games?

There are some games that were designed exclusively for Cygnet, which include the Inner Tube expansion pack, Synchrony, Alpha Theta, Toy Train, and HyperPong Infinity. These games won't be available for Alive. The Inner Tube expansion pack, in particular was a joint project that contains more than j...
