Did I just get an upgrade? :)

Hi Ryan. During today's iFeel Pioneer graph training session, I went to change one of the graphs and found that all changes to graph views were unresponsive even though my session kept running. It's the first time I've ever experienced what I thought was a glitch in the software. Then in the session...

Re: Sample rates of iFeel and Biosignals HS sensors.

Hi Ryan.
Ah-Ha! Different algorithms. There's the answer.
All good.
Cheers,
Richard.

Re: Sample rates of iFeel and Biosignals HS sensors.

Thanks for your quick response, Ryan. Intersting that they are both 200 samples per second. Generally the HS BioSignals reports more HF in the Frequency Spectrum graph compared to the iFeel for me - so I assumed the BioSignals sample rate must be higher / more accurate. I am using the grey rubber HR...

Re: Sample rates of iFeel and Biosignals HS sensors.

After writing the post above, I did a 20 minute session using the BioSignals HS sensor and scored an Average Smoothness of 92% - which represents my highest score ever using my BioSignals sensor. :? ) My Average smoothness score from my last BioSignals HSW session a few days ago was 36%. What am I m...

Sample rates of iFeel and Biosignals HS sensors.

I am getting very different Smoothness readings between my iFeel and BioSignals HS hardware in Alive Pioneer. My iFeel Sensor Report: All - Ave Smoothness 70% (Smoothness Difficulty: Challenging) My BioSignals HS Report: All - Ave Smoothness 26% (Smoothness Difficulty: Easy !) The iFeel USB Sensor i...

Smoothness Difficlty Settings and the new ln(HF) in Detailed Session Reviews

Hi Ryan. Just wanted confirmation that the Difficulty Settings only apply changes to Environments and Games and not to Graph Training. I think of Graph Training as reflecting/feeding back what's happening during a training session, so I can't see what elements would be changed by increasing/decreasi...

Re: How Smooth is Smooth?

The 1st qtr of 2019 will be here is a flash. Temperature support will be an interesting addition. I'm already looking forward to seeing if there's a correlation between Temp and SCL. As I recall, body temp tends to drop as parasympathetic activity becomes more dominant. I look forward to getting an ...

Re: How Smooth is Smooth?

Thanks for your input (and validation!), Ryan. Back in the early days I do remember trying too hard and over breathing. Not sure that there's any benefit training for tingling fingers, a woozy head and hyperventilation. I will experiment with the Smoothness Difficulty setting as you suggested....

How Smooth is Smooth?

Hi All. I'm training for Smoothness (HRV). I understand that many measurements are taken into consideration to determine 'Smoothness'. During Alive Pioneer sessions I've been checking all the graphs and information available to see if I can find the one best measurement that would seem to indicate m...
