Finger Sensors not working

We have recently purchased a new set of finger senors since our original set died after a long duration. This new set is only about 3 months old but is now
not registering when Alive is running. I have updated to version 1.8.4 and when I use the "Device Status" in the IOM settings i can see that all 3 of the finger sensors are recording data. What am I doing wrong? Any tips?

Hi James,

Did you recently install some other software for the IOM? Alive doesn't have a device status, so I assume you're running some other IOM driver / software in the background? If you are, you may need to close that, as it may have taken exclusive access of the IOM. What other software are you using that works with the IOM?

Last time we had trouble with the finger sensors, your Somantic support advised me that i should install the IOM drivers, which I did - so that the little green butterfly was active & running in the background. Under the butterfly Icon there is a option to show device status, which I used to check if the sensors were working. After reading your last post i have uninstalled the IOM drivers, however this has not fixed the problem. Alive starts but once you go into a task/environment it states that the finger sensors are not detected. My Management have resolved to purchased more finger sensors, so we'll see if that fixes our problem.
