How to use your xbox 360 controller on haf live 2

hi i have a xbox controller and i just trying to play half live 2 on alive with controller but its not working

The key you need to press to open the developer console is the one with these two symbols: ~`
exec 360controller
exec undo360controller
to activate but is only works with the full game version .do you know any other way to use it ? thanks a lot

it is impossible to play the biofeedback version of half live 2 using a game-pad (joystick).i have been trying and search many things but a give up..i find vary frustrating playing with key board not fun ..i have to wait and see if any update comes thanks

Half Life 2 generally requires 2 hands 1 for the keyboard and 1 for the mouse. This is the standard way of playing PC action games. Are you trying to play with the IOM finger sensors? If not, and you have emWave sensors, please attach the sensor to your ear, use your left hand to move forward / backwards / jump etc. and your right hand on the mouse to turn, aim and shoot.

If you are trying to configure this to work with 1 hand, it is possible to purchase a mouse with a LOT of buttons and get things to work somewhat. You'll need to spend some time configuring the mouse. It really requires two hands to play.

i have the emwave sensor but i am more of joystick person on steam every game you have a choice game pad or key board i simply don't find easy at all play with keyboard i always use controllers like xbox etc and the sdk2006 they have a option to use joystick but doesn't work i check the box but only the movement back and forward works i can't get aim on the game pad second way of using is going to developer mode ant type (exec 360controller ) it works for every valve game the controller becomes all perfect configure but on the sdk2006 doesn't seams to support that ..but thanks vary much for your attention i use a lot alive i just would love to play a hardcore game and keep cool at the same time it will be vary changeling for me lol i guess i will have to practice the use of keyboard for playing hardcore games
