Hello,
I'm using the IOM with Alive and it works great for me.
I tried it with my mother as well but she has difficulties with proper sensor connection. She has very cold hands. Might this be a problem for getting a good GSR reading?
Would it help to warm the hand in warm water berfore a session or does this have a negativ effect on the feedback because of remaining dampness on the skin?
Thanks in advance

Re: problems with GSR Signal (IOM)
Hi Wurst,
Warming the hands is a great idea to improve the connection / signal quality. Dipping in water will cause issues as the hands will remain damp perhaps, which will interfere with the GSR (although not heart rate smoothness) signal. If you can warm her hands in water, then wait till they are fully dry and/or warm up the room, this will help.
Alternatively, for GSR, just put on hand moisturizer (but the heart rate smoothness signal will not be good if hands are too cold).
As a note, relaxation also warms your hands.
